چکیده

Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), a microbial biostimulant has been widely studied to stimulate plant growth through induction of natural biological processes. However, lack successful validation under open field remains barrier mark their standard in agriculture. Therefore, the aim research was highlight potential PGPR biostimulants via vitro studies and subsequently demonstrate planta evaluation oilseed crop, Arachis hypogaea L. (Groundnut) pot trials. The two rhizobacterial strain identified as Pseudomonas fluorescens Bacillus subtilis by 16s rRNA gene sequence analysis. Both strains were functionally screened for promoting traits. Pot trials conducted where seeds inoculated with harvested at 30 90 days. Biostimulant treatments applied single co-inoculation groundnut factors, biochemical parameters, yield, seed quality analyzed. study inferred that consortium significantly ( p < 0.05) showed highest growth, photosynthetic pigments, nodulation status, leghaemoglobin content, yield attributes, also biofortification nutrients crop both conditions than un-inoculated control. This supports idea application trial facilitate its implementation feasible agricultural product synthetic fertilizers thereby influencing sustainable stable production.

GENETIC DIVERGENCE IN GROUNDNUT (Arachis hypogaea L)

Comprising 34 groundnut genotypes an experiment was conducted in a randomized block design with three replication at the Research farm of Regional Agricultural Research Station, BARI, Hathazari, Chittagong during Rabi season (December 2009 to April 2010) for estimation of the multivariate analysis of divergence. The genotypes were grouped into five clusters. Cluster III contained the highest nu...

Impact of Fungicides Chlorothalonil and Propiconazole on Microbial Activities in Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Soils

Introduction of agrochemicals (fungicides) into soil may have lasting effects on soil microbial activities and thus affect soil health. In order to determine the changes in microbial activity in a black clay and red sandy loam soils of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) cultivated fields, a case study was conducted with propiconazole and chlorothalonil to evaluate its effects on soil enzymes (cell...

Analysis of Seed Proteins in Groundnut Cultivars (Arachis hypogaea L.)

The seed protein contents and protein banding pattern were studied in commonly cultivated groundnut cultivars. The groundnut cultivars such as ICGV00351, TMV-7, CO-4,CO-6 and TG-374 were used for quantitative and qualitative analysis of seed proteins. The protein contents varied among the different varieties of groundnut. The maximum protein content was observed in CO-6 followed by CO-4, TMV-7,...

Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Omics and Biotechnology in China

Peanut is one of the most important crops in the world, both for vegetative oil and as a protein source. Biotechnology approaches provide promising ways to increase peanut productivity, either through improved seed quality or stress resistance. These approaches require the identification of genes that control important agronomical traits, the understanding of gene regulation and metabolic pathw...

Induced variability in quantitative characters of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.)

Groundnut genotype AK-280 was treated with EMS 40 mM, 60 mM, gamma rays 30 kR, 40 kR, 50 kR and combination treatment of EMS 20 mM + gamma rays 20 kR. The observations on various quantitative characters were recorded in M2 generation. The flowering and maturity period was not much affected. For the character height of main axis genotype showed differential response to different treatments of mu...
